* tests: pin weed mini admin ports and disable unused aux services
Every weed mini that does not configure them still binds the fixed
default ports for the admin server (12535 + derived 22535 gRPC), its
legacy compat listener (23646 + 33646), WebDAV (7333), Lance (9101) and
the Iceberg REST catalog (8181). Sequential or concurrent minis on one
host then collide on them: the port check warns and shifts, and the
admin's late bind can land on a stolen ephemeral port, adding noise and
flakiness to test logs (e.g. run 40017181958, job 120659267479).
Add testutil.MiniAdminArgs to pin the admin server to an allocated
mini-style port (HTTP + port+10000 gRPC, both below the Linux ephemeral
port floor since admin binds late) and disable the legacy compat
listener. Every test that spawns weed mini now also disables the aux
services it does not use: WebDAV, Lance and the Iceberg REST endpoint
get port=0 unless the test actually exercises them, in which case their
ports stay pinned as before.
* tests: take mini admin ports from the below-ephemeral range
* tests: reuse MiniAdminArgs for the remote-s3 fetch mini
* tests: fully disable webdav and co-allocate mini admin ports
- -webdav.port=0 only makes the service bind a random port; add
-webdav=false so minis that do not test WebDAV skip it entirely.
- Spark, RisingWave and s3 Spark launchers allocated the admin port in
a second MustFreeMiniPort call, which could pick a port already
handed out by the first batch. Fold 'Admin' into the same
MustFreeMiniPorts call.
- test/fuse_integration is a separate Go module and cannot import
testutil; allocate the admin ports with its local freePort helper
instead.
* test/fuse: derive the mini admin gRPC port from its HTTP port
Two independent freePort calls could return the same port, making admin.port equal admin.port.grpc (or collide with the filer port). Allocate once and derive the gRPC port with the +10000 convention.
* test/fuse: pin the mini admin port in the fuse_test framework copy
The fuse_test package framework spawns weed mini too; without a pinned admin port it still binds the fixed defaults 12535/23646 and collides with other minis.
* tests: drop the redundant -webdav.port=0 flag
-webdav=false alone disables the service; the port flag is dead config.
* sts: enforce session-policy explicit deny during role chaining
A chained AssumeRole caller authenticates with an STS session token whose
inline session policy can explicitly deny sts:AssumeRole. The deny check only
evaluated the caller's named policies, so such a session could still chain into
any role its trust policy admits. Validate the session token in the deny check
and honor an explicit Deny in the inline session policy too.
* test(sts): integration coverage for AssumeRole authorization
Add an end-to-end AssumeRole authorization test (real weed mini + boto3):
a non-admin caller assumes a role its trust policy admits, an explicit
identity-side deny is blocked, and a session policy's explicit deny blocks
role chaining.
* sts: skip OIDC tokens and reject revoked sessions in the chaining deny check
Review follow-ups on the session-policy deny check:
- Guard session validation with !isOIDCToken so a bearer token our STS service
cannot validate does not error into a false deny.
- Reject a revoked session before evaluating its policy, restoring the
revocation enforcement the AssumeRole path lost when it stopped routing
through IsActionAllowed.
* test: consolidate port allocation into shared test/testutil package
Move duplicated port allocation logic from 15+ test files into a single
shared package at test/testutil/. This fixes a port collision bug where
independently allocated ports could overlap via the gRPC offset
(port+10000), causing weed mini to reject the configuration.
The shared package provides:
- AllocatePorts: atomic allocation of N unique ports
- AllocateMiniPorts/MustFreeMiniPorts: gRPC-offset-aware allocation
that prevents port A+10000 == port B collisions
- WaitForPort, WaitForService, FindBindIP, WriteIAMConfig, HasDocker
* test: address review feedback and fix FUSE build
- Revert fuse_integration change: it has its own go.mod and cannot
import the shared testutil package
- AllocateMiniPorts: hold all listeners open until the entire batch is
allocated, preventing race conditions where other processes steal ports
- HasDocker: add 5s context timeout to avoid hanging on stalled Docker
- WaitForService: only treat 2xx HTTP status codes as ready
* test: use global rand in AllocateMiniPorts for better seeding
Go 1.20+ auto-seeds the global rand generator. Using it avoids
identical sequences when multiple tests call at the same nanosecond.
* test: revert WaitForService status code check
S3 endpoints return non-2xx (e.g. 403) on bare GET requests, so
requiring 2xx caused the S3 integration test to time out. Any HTTP
response is sufficient proof that the service is running.
* test: fix gofmt formatting in s3tables test files
The test port allocation had a TOCTOU race where GetFreePort() would
open a listener, grab the port number, then immediately close it.
When called repeatedly, the OS could recycle a just-released port,
causing two services (e.g. Filer and S3) to be assigned the same port.
Replace per-call GetFreePort() with batch AllocatePorts() that holds
all listeners open until every port is obtained, matching the pattern
already used in test/volume_server/framework/cluster.go.
* Fix STS AssumeRole with POST body param and add integration test
* Add STS integration test to CI workflow
* Address code review feedback: fix HPP vulnerability and style issues
* Refactor: address code review feedback
- Fix HTTP Parameter Pollution vulnerability in UnifiedPostHandler
- Refactor permission check logic for better readability
- Extract test helpers to testutil/docker.go to reduce duplication
- Clean up imports and simplify context setting
* Add SigV4-style test variant for AssumeRole POST body routing
- Added ActionInBodyWithSigV4Style test case to validate real-world scenario
- Test confirms routing works correctly for AWS SigV4-signed requests
- Addresses code review feedback about testing with SigV4 signatures
* Fix: always set identity in context when non-nil
- Ensure UnifiedPostHandler always calls SetIdentityInContext when identity is non-nil
- Only call SetIdentityNameInContext when identity.Name is non-empty
- This ensures downstream handlers (embeddedIam.DoActions) always have access to identity
- Addresses potential issue where empty identity.Name would skip context setting
